Endace

Endace was a-buzz after Porter Novelli secured Prime Minster John Key for a morning in Christchurch to meet with them and announce the repatriation of some critical manufacturing to New Zealand.

A success story in New Zealand’s technology sector, Endace wanted to raise its profile here and develop deeper relationships with government, key business and technology groups.

After reviewing its business plans, Porter Novelli identified the Christchurch move as a smart way to kick start this process and convinced the client that it was a worthy enough announcement to approach the Prime Minister to endorse. Endace agreed to let Porter Novelli go ahead with the plan and the results were superb.

As a result Endace also built and strengthened relationships with a wide range of important stakeholders and achieved great media coverage including: National Business Review, CIO, Computerworld, Reseller News, Radio NZ, TVNZ, Canterbury TV, The Christchurch Press, Waikato Times and Stuff.co.nz. Since then Endace has continued steadily raising its profile among core government, business and technology stakeholders.

Tactics included:
• Pre-briefings (under embargo) with key stakeholders in Local Government, National Government including the Prime Minster and other Cabinet offices, industry, technology, business and academic sectors – as well as current clients and prospective customers
• Media announcement to national, local, business and technology journalists
• Announcement briefing and event with Prime Minister John Key.
