How are we going to feed everyone on the planet?
At the NZBIO Conference this week, Pamela Ronald, a visiting Professor from California, discussed the precarious nature of agriculture – how it impacts the environment and how we’re not going to be able to feed everyone on the planet based on the current rate of population growth. Perhaps we need someone like Al Gore to take this on and create the same fervour around this issue that climate change has.
