Porter Novelli Digital Insights 2012

This year saw social media platforms play a more prominent role in the dissemination of news and creation of social connections. Whether it was the news of Osama Bin Laden's death, or the general public uniting to show they care via hashtags such as #eqnz, social media proved to be a constantly evolving machine and an important part of daily life.
